I took an Uber home once and my driver spoke no English, was texting and FaceTiming people, did an illegal U-Turn on a major road and drove on the left. While in the back of a Lyft they are responsible for your safety. Lyft pays up to $50k for personal injury when involved in an accident while riding with them. It's a civil suit.
