| MawiIe 09/30/20 11:07:49 PM #118: | The idea that there's a "set of rules" for including a smash character (not based of a trophy, nintendo only, popular, from a series sakurai likes) is highlighted by the fact that smash gave us a FE character (many people considered Corrin to be the unnecessary rep that "got it over with") and at the end of a string of third party characters adds to the futility of trying to identify a pattern or rule in who makes it in smash. There's nothing stopping them from making three of the next fighters pass the sword and shield starters. So hoping to get a pokemon to "get it over with" is silly because there IS no "get it over with" in the smash picks.
