Though in this case, it's kind of a meaningless question, since think all the 3D Mario games are shit anyway, and I have zero desire to ever own a Switch. So there was pretty much no chance I was ever going to buy it under any terms or conditions anyway, short of Nintendo offering to pay ME to buy it, or if the game came with a free blowjob from a supermodel or something.

But I've stopped playing other franchises I used to love over petty bullshit or poor directorial choices, so it's not as if I'm incapable of putting my foot down over things I consider dealbreaker issues. I'm an adult with enough impulse control that I don't feel compelled to rush out and stick my dick in a blender every time some company greases the wheels of the hype machine hard enough.
