It completely astonishes me the lack of checks and redundancy when it comes to medications. It should be very possible for a computer program to check for conflicts automatically and make sure you never get prescribed something that is going to fuck you over. The medical system is such complete trash from top to bottom. The amount of medical errors I've been the recipient of in the last 16 months is obscene.

Given the wrong scan like 3-4 times, had both arm veins blown up cause dumb fuck nurse doesn't know how to place an IV, had them turn back on the IV I had an nearly fatal reaction to without telling me causing me to almost die again (which thank fucking god I was paranoid and checked or I'd just be dead), took 45 minutes to respond to my calls for help where I again barely managed to avoid death by staggering out of the bed and turning off the IV machine.

Was starved 3 times despite being malnourished and all that was just one of my many hospital visits. They also tried to give me the wrong medicine like 15 times but I don't take shit without researching it myself cause obviously they can't be trusted ever since years ago they gave me medicine and didn't tell me about any side effects or not to drive so I drove and nearly passed out at the wheel and then had a bad heart episode in the parking lot.

Like, I think a doctor is more likely to make a mistake than not in any given instance and it's just absurd that this is allowed.
