Have you called Comcast so they can check to see if your router is losing signal from them? If that's the case, then they'd need to fix that before you consider getting a new router.

I called xfinity last week. They sent somebody out Friday who fixed it. Then Monday it went out again. So I called and they set me up another appointment for this evening. But it worked all day yesterday, so this morning I cancelled my appointment because I didnt want to be charged for a pointless visit. Then an hour later, it went out again, almost like they waited for me to cancel and then went out just to mess with me. So frustrating. I literally moved down the street not even a quarter mile and never had this issue at the last place.
