I really don't think you speak for "everyone" buddy. A lot of people simply want cops gone.

I think cops should only show up if there is a need for them to become physical. If there is no need to physically arrest anybody, then there is no reason for them to come.

I think most cops are used as debt collectors for the state. Blindly upholding the laws and issuing tickets (that naturally pray on the poor...aka minorities) for the purpose of meeting quotas. They forget their purpose, and when confronted with real danger or an actual need to protect the community they shell up like a deer in the headlights.

They are so use to being conditioned to harass the community and to view it as the enemy, that they have no clue how to behave when it comes time to be an actual hero and protect it. So I would like to see officers behave like a Batman, and ignore street cleaning and jay walking violations and just respond to calls where they'll be a high chance that they'll have to physically put hands on someone.

That's my opinion.
