Had they had some actual wrestling or Jijitsu training they could have very EASILY taken down Blake when his back was turned and restrained him. But, they are such pathetic physical specimens they literally had no means of which to defend themselves when scared other than by pulling the trigger. Stop hiring simpy people to be cops. Stop hiring women to be BEAT cops. START physically discriminating in the hiring process of police officers. Sorry kid, you are too fat... Sorry kid, you are too short... Sorry kid, you are too weak... Sorry kid, you are disabled... Sorry kid, you are a woman... ...and therefore incapable of safely being able to physically resolve dangerous, even life threatening, conflict unless you pull your weapon, and frankly that should be a last resort and not a first resort... ...but hey, here are a bunch of other jobs you can do for the department besides becoming a standard "beat cop."
