Since you mention it there was a BLM protest by a church in my area a couple months ago, was pretty cool. Just like a dozen or so people on a small residential road by a church but I thought it was still a good sight. Also maybe just never noticed it here, but when I was in the Seattle Airport they had gender free bathrooms advertised as safe spaces and in Portland the shops had anti-Nazi stickers up and "We welcome <list of everyone else>" signs. Haven't seen a lot of that in MD but probably am not looking hard enough. Also this was before all the protesting began this year so maybe things changed here, too.
