Mr Crispy posted... well, it's not so much that the ds version is bad or anything like that, it's more that it's much more different from the original and other ports and so I think that you'd probably get a bit more out of it if you're somewhat familiar with the original and can see what they changed (and I get the impression that they buffed a lot of things/changed their strategies for the sake of challenging experienced or returning players) than as a standalone or replacement for the original. I get your points, if I hadn't bought this one already I'd probably consider getting it on GBA instead thanks to some of these posts, but this is what I have now and I really just want to finally experience this game in some form.
