My older brother's last words to our mom was him calling her a fucking bitch then hanging up on her. I told him the same thing. Not the way you want your last moments with someone to go down, but there's no knowing what the future holds. Both my brother and myself are not religious, but I suggested he "talk" to our mom at the funeral or at her grave. He told me some years later that advice helped him a bit.
