So they did something called "the showdown" a few days ago that you can watch, which is where all the teams that weren't in this year compete, 12 teams. The top 8 in that advanced to the qualifiers, where those 8 teams plus the teams that were in the previous marble league compete to get into the league (aside from the top 3 from this past one and the host, they auto-qualify.) So ultimately there'll be 20 teams competing in the qualifiers for 12 open spots if I did the math right.
