Visceral doesn't exist anymore and the franchise has been permanently killed. I wouldnt say permanently killed. However with ea holding the rights to it you can expect a rerelease to be more like ME andromeda was to Mass Effect. It would be a bunch of developers playing grab ass rather than an dead space title.
