I would rather see new bi characters instead of changing existing characters so this is a good thing imo but I don't watch Disney channel stuff anymore so I won't be watching it for that reason This doesn't really feel like a ret-con. I don't follow Owl House but I do see online discussion, and from what I've heard Luz has been acting "probably not completely straight" pretty much from the start.
