I actually loathed this game for maybe about half of my time with it and then somehow everything fell into place. Granted, it was in a really specific way that I don't know many people will relate to.

The camera, controls, AI and everything are all absolutely abominable, but in learning to manipulate the game (and especially Trico) better and better, I actually did end up feeling like I was getting closer to Trico. Like our bond was growing stronger and he was listening to me more often - even though all that was really happening was I was learning how to work around his janky ass.
