And it went into a crowd he didn't see coming because the main group had just passed. They were banging on his car and the person with an ak-47 pointed the gun at the driver. The driver then shot the person under threat of the gun pointed at him. Thus, self-defense. Either way he is going to get charged. The details will have to sort themselves out to see whether it would be a conviction or not.
