I got 2 years of free credit monitoring for having my info hacked previously from somewhere else...but it's been like 3-4 years now and supposedly should be over. But I still get the fucking emails from it as if I have it. It's fucking worthless and I stopped paying attention to the vague "alerts" that the emails mention, because every fucking time I bothered to check, it was about something else entirely like a sex offender moving into the area or something. I have no clue if I still have monitoring or not. Why is it MY JOB to verify all that info when yahoo is the one that fucked up? Just give me the damn pay out, credit monitoring is fucking worthless and my personal info doesn't change in 2 years anyway. I'd rather just take the fucking money. But no, I have to prove I have valid and current monitoring services in order to choose the cash payout! Why does it matter to yahoo, they pay money either way!
