Indonesia proposed a declaration of friendship, so naturally we took it. They also gave us a nice boost in happiness after they followed us in the path of Freedom, which negated the hits we were taking from other ideologies. We did accomplish 2 big things otherwise:

We won the world's fair, which gave us a nice social policy and culture boost, and we finished the Commerce social policies, which has solved our happiness problems for the rest of time. Now we're focusing on building our navy, as we also discovered another source of Iron for some more frigates, and we'll need all the help we can get if the Ottomans decide to attack us by sea (Indonesia told us they were marching an army to Rome.) We'll see if this peace lasts much longer.
