White fragility is the social response of defensiveness many people experience when confronted with racism. You can see its effects all over CE.
It's a fairly controversial issue in that it's dehumanizing towards black people and not problem-solving, but as a descriptor it's valid and fairly studied, even before the book by DiAngelo. It is absolutely not racist in the way users on here think it is, it is descriptive. By comparison, I wouldn't feel comfortable wantonly posting things I've studied about the African American family unit for fear of getting modded. Some things in academia just tend to get loaded in common parlance.

So, go ahead. How is "white fragility" racist? What is the definition?

Edit: It's also hilarious to think that random gamers on the internet would expect each other to have done a 10 year cross-cultural study on the link between capitalism and racism.
