The draft is a live three-day event (Rounds 1-2 Day 1, 3-4 Day 2, and 5-7 Day 3). There is an in-game scouting event, but it's just a waste of my time for various reasons, but a big one is that all the info becomes available during the draft anyway. If you attend the live draft, you can get all the info the game has available then. Coaches and their respective ratings are completely meaningless. They are just a name. The only thing a coach affects is on coaching strategies, which users are able to change (I give coaching strategies out before the preaseason).
