If I had kids I would have gotten the hell out of the US along time ago, so would be somewhere right now where it is safe for them to go to school, so yes.

Would I let them in the US?

I wouldn't even let them without the virus, I would either home school, and have a selection of other (hand picked) parents/kids who interact with each other for sports etc, or I would find a good private school and do a job that gave me the freedom to volunteer there along with other parents who do the same to make sure the kids are treated right and get a good education.

I taught in the public school system and at least in CA they are so worried about treating every kid the same that you have 3+ special needs kids in every class. This is a HORRIBLE example of how to act to the other kids, and it shows in how many of them start to behave.

In addition the huge overcrowding means that most students are either behind and can't get help, or ahead and seriously bored. The teachers do not have time to work with them individually, and my kids would be well ahead of the norm, so bored to freaking tears. I wouldn't do that to them. When I taught I always had word searches, logic problems and other assignments etc for the kids who were ahead and finished early to do, sadly that is very rare.

So my answer is YES for most of the world and NO FREAKING WAY for the US.
