Axel isn't as bad as you say he is. He's viable sure, but he's easily worse than all the other characters. Which I think is disappointing given he's the hero of the story. And challenging is fine. Make the bosses harder, that's good challenge. Having a random low level enemy come at you with a knife that's 3 inches long but has a hitbox that's shaped like a 2 meter balloon around his body is a bit odd. I get that you disagree and that's fine but when people do the whole "just get gud" shtick it's a bit boring.
