| adjl 07/02/20 8:54:29 PM #14: | If you aren't covering both your mouth and your nose with the mask, there's no point in wearing the mask. Adjusting it to only cover your mouth when others aren't around is okay in the sense that you aren't going to be infected by/infect anyone else (obviously), but making that adjustment does mean touching your face, which can result in contamination if your hands aren't clean. Ideally, you should just leave it be until the time comes to actually remove it, but if you do need to adjust it like that more frequently than that, you should carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer and use it before touching your face (within reason, of course. You don't need to sanitize if it's been two minutes since the last time and you haven't touched anything else). --- This is my signature.
