| saspa 07/02/20 9:02:54 AM #8: | I can imagine if it was Basch or Balthier as the lead, any of whom would do and would have been more interesting to see. Basch not being the lead basically had him being shunted off to the side after his escape and revealing he's alive to the marquis. Btw that whole plot seems pointless in hindsight and what was even the point of the subterfuge of having that whole framing Basch, imprisoning him and not killing him, how that possibly affects marquis ondorre and in what way, etc etc. The whole political intrigue in Archadia with the judges, the senate, Vayn wanting to seize power, that also could have been really cool if they'd just developed it further, it could have been something badass like Julius Caeasar levels of epic. But nope it's just "oh we could easily frame them for having killed the emperor and seize full power" like how does that work. All elements of suspense, gone. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
