For Savage to be a rapist as a 3rd grader and have the entire family sans the accuser stick up for him makes the accusation less plausible given the limited information. It would also be necessary for the entirety of the Mythbusters group, some of which were around him for a decade, to not see anything weird or strange with his behavior. When the choices are 'this seems fake' or 'Savage is such a meticulous predator despite his own personality that he's fooled the entire world for 40 years', the former seems likely. I'm not saying he is, as this is one of the few cases where I really couldn't tell you which is true, but families can and do defend known incestuous rapists, and you don't actually need to show any weird character flaws to be a rapist. --- formerly evening formerly guide https://youtu.be/Acn5IptKWQU ...
