It seems like the most powerful countries manage to just bully their way out of accountability there, sadly pioneered and perfected by the US. If any core member of the CCP has foreign bank accounts, we could at least freeze those, right? We could pull out of non-essential industries, but then they'd retaliate by withholding essential things from us, and if we responded, then that's sanctions, mass starvation etc. I don't know what the solution is, but we seriously can't sit by and watch an old school genocide happen, right?
