Like season 2 had the douchey hospital investor, season 3 had the obsessed cop, and things would happen with them around the main plot of the weekly sick person, instead of the other way around. Yeah, House did a good job of building its plots so everything kind of felt natural. It fell off hard after Season 6, of course, but outside Season 7 (pre-Masters) it never got bad. They even started subtly ribbing the fact that all the patients follow the same trajectory(that one Wilson-centric episode is hilarious, because there's a ridiculous House episode going on in the background.) ~~Plus, the chicken bet was amazing.~~ <cite>ElatedVenusaur posted [p:941448517] in House is a...
