I haven't done one in a while, but the idea was that a list of 100 songs is taken...either host-created or via nominations...and then the list is split into groups of (say) 5 and divvied out to people to rate. I split the list several times, so there were multiple different circuits people were assigned to, and after they rated 5 songs, they could ask for another block from that circuit. We kept going until everything got ranked 5 times.
