Haha. "Who wasn't he investigating?"

Zeus never fails to deliver.

Considering that presidents have wide associations, it's unremarkable for a president to have some connection to somebody being investigated for something ESPECIALLY in his home state. The fact that you pretend this is somehow big or controversial is a matter of ignorance. There's always some "investigation" going and "investigations" shouldn't be used as job security, doubly so given the often-partisan nature of some "investigations"

Zeus could be a defense lawyer and he would never have to lie. His clients would just always be innocent.

If guys like you were the prosecutors, defense lawyers would have the easiest job in the world.

They watch so much Fox News, theyve been trained to deflect, misconstrue, and employ all sorts of logical fallacies naturally and effortlessly.

Im impressed, and entertained.

More low-brow trolling from KBE. Anybody who disagrees with nonsense narratives is instantly falsely accused of watching Fox News. But I guess when all you have is a hammer, you have to pretend everything is a nail. #NailedKBE

Overlooking that your claims and aspersions are ridiculous, I should point out that if I posted something like you just did, I'd wind up warned, so enjoy your privilege

If you don't understand the question being asked, you probably shouldn't try to answer it (or at least should ask for clarification first).

The hilarious part is, Audrey Strauss, the person who now replaces Berman, defeated Roy Cohn, who represented Trump in the 70's. She was also on the staff that went after Iran-Contra, which Barr is infamously tied to. And she's picking up right where Berman left off in investigating Trump.

Example #173739 of Trump and Co. being too stupid to get out of their own way.

Which, if nothing else, debunks the political motivation claim because by your own admission it makes things *worse*, not better.

I assume the premise of the topic is how is it ethically OK for this to happen, and it isn't. But if it wasn't obvious before, the Trump administration has shown just how terribly the checks and balances system of the US government has actually been set up is, especially when it concerns the Executive branch.

If the investigation stopped, you might be able to claim ethics. However, if it doesn't stop the investigation -- which you pointed out it doesn't -- you don't even have that leg to stand on. Otherwise once again by the logic of this topic, you're suggesting that an investigation gives people job protection which it *shouldn't*
