What is your argument for why polls ending at 6pm is a good thing? Because there are plenty of reasons it's not, but if you're defending it so hard, then you must have reasons?
It's there set time. Why is 7pm a good thing?

Half the state of Kentucky is 6pm and half 7pm (EST) due to time zones. 85% of Indiana is 6pm and 15% 7pm (EST) due to time zones. So you could argue some get an extra hour from work to vote and some may lose an hour but make the gap before work even wider.

I never said 6pm is a particularly good thing. But you have failed to argue 6pm is a particularly bad thing. If 6pm is bad because 7pm areas exist then. 7pm is bad because 8pm exists. Then 8pm is bad cuz 9pm exists.

Hawaii, Indiana, and Kentucky are 6pm. Yet to hear voter suppression arguments on blue Hawaii due to their time.

People rushed the last day at the end. Simple as that. They tried something different due to the Coronavirus. If you have a qualm with it, you likely have a qualm with the Coronavirus related ideas.

The nefarious voter suppression hardly seems to have been cause here. This is where how I point out when you try to lump everything under a rallying crime (racism, suppression, police brutality, etc) when it doesn't fit that you lessen your message.
