She literally said "He bragged about having to go a certain way or he'd get crowded" and then literally got crowded anyway. It's not bragging if it's a legitimate reason. And it's also obvious that he had to say she was his GF so she could stay at the table. If they knew he just brought a random girl he was hanging out with, she probably would of instantly got booted to a lobby or something. This is literally just the awkwardness involved in hanging out with new people. Especially known people. He shot his shot and got rejected and then carried on.
