i think it's one of his least fun matchups in the game, up there with sonic and ike. i don't personally lose it that much (zss is rare anyways) but i think it's in zss's favor, she has just enough disjoints for upb to not be a free initiator, her upb can punish his upbs for early kills, and she's really hard to hit. playing lame in general and forcing game & watch to approach is generally how you beat him and she has all the moves to play patient

i think game & watch is good at burning flip kick and he does a pretty good job at juggling her, but whenever i fight a zss i swear it always goes to the last minute because i'm afraid of an upb killing me at 70% by the ledge and zss is too afraid to nair while i do run away downsmashes

upsmashing a flip kick is the most satisfying fucking thing though
