I don't think Phil has any passion for anything. The only thing that gets him excited these days is getting a big tip--even some of his legitimate viewers have noted that his mood seems to brighten when he hits the tip goal.

Yeah, it's not even shallow or anything, he usually goes full on clown mode after receiving large sums of money.

But that "high" never seems to last. Even if he hits the tips goal on the first stream (and it doesn't matter if he goes over it), he goes right back to his miserable self the next stream, often complaining that things are slowing down and whatnot.

And yeah, he doesn't have passion for anything. No matter what he talks about, he always does it in the same tone of voice, unless it is anger due to his incompetence. He talks in the same tone of voice be it his wife, the cat, or whatever. And even though he might have been happy about having Jasper, I bet that novelty has worn off long ago, and his wife is nothing more to him than a live in maid. Given the fact that he has had a couple of fruedian slips, calling his wife his mom, this is not hard to see.

If anyhting Phil is stuck in a rut. And ironically, unlike most other people, he has the means to get out of it, or could get out of it if he wanted. He just chooses to stay exactly where he is and just bitches about it. It kind of rubs me the wrong way when he calls himself poor and that he has to try and get by, because he uses it to elicit sympathy, while not understanding what it is to be actually poor.

But he doesn't want to give up doing nothing either, he literally sits on his ass all days, bitches at his viewers for money.
