Coming from the guy who scratched and clawed for comparisons to make Kefka look super awesome. Again, anything I have negative against Kefka comes from the blatant made up shit about how great he is or how people don't even know the context of his true actions.

He's not this rags to riches story that I am sure yall really want to believe.

Feel like there's a lot to unpack here, as you're getting pretty desperate to exacerbate what happened in order to save face. I never took the stance of 'Kefka's teh best villain evur,' and clearly stated as such; but in a topic where people are taking and approach to shitting on the guy similar to an edgy teen hating on their parent's music, I felt it worthwhile to defend him a bit. 'Scratched and clawed' is transparently petty on your part, as I made some fairly clear comparisons which you failed to effectively counter beyond 'lol they're nothing alike.' You complained earlier that I was trying to deflate HL's Joker in order to make Kefka look good; well, I shouldn't have to explain this to you, but that's what one does in arguments in which there's two characters who you believe to be fairly comparable, and one is getting dumped on and one is getting high praise. I was quite sincere in my appraisal; while I've always loved HL's Joker as a dynamic, manipulative presence, his philosophies and lauded ability to plan don't hold up under scrutiny. Let's also not forget that you erroneously handwaved every action Kefka took prior to moving the statues as 'winging it,' and never formed a strong defense of this, to the point where I was almost convinced you forgot Kefka actually did things in the game prior to moving the statues (this of course coming on the heels of a post where you quite ironically insinuated that 'fans' of the game never remembered the plot as well as you do).
