This is true, but TC intentionally misrepresented what he said to rile up the brainless TDS crowd. And honestly, the TDS crowd are caricatures just as bad as Trump in their villainy to twist everything he says. Some people love that he doesn't rely on teleprompters and goes off script, other people are triggered into mindless delirium. It doesn't help that the media is complicit in this endeavor and that people are largely too uneducated to actually read.
