| tigerslashII 06/04/20 11:38:08 AM #46: | I dated a pinay once and she told me that in the Philippines, the dark skinned girls were considered ugly by Filipino men but American men loved them. They said the most beautiful women were the short, thin, white looking ones while girls who were taller and darker were only chased by American soldiers. Which worked out for them since they loved American men, but it led to the saying that they were "so dark that Americans like them" or something to that affect.
