Topic	Gardeners/Amphibian Fans: I unearthed toad eggs. How do I protect them?

I don't want to dry them out by leaving them uncovered, or suffocate them by burying them too deep again. So far, I sprinkled some dirt back over the area lightly and will avoid it for the rest of my task. How do I ensure they have the best chance of survival after inadvertantly raking over them several times? --- Please, call me Vanai.
