| saspa 05/29/20 6:30:59 PM #5: | Zikten posted... well even in the comic it's based on, he didn't want to rule the universe. in the comics, he was in love with the cosmic manifestation of the concept of Death basically. who in that story was depicted as a woman. and he was so obsessed with her he thought if he killed enough people maybe she would pay attention to him. I kinda wish they had stuck with that motivation and we got to see Death even. but she probably would look silly in live action. and I think most MCU viewers would not like that storyline. it worked in the comic but might not have worked in a movie I would have been fine with that, sounds much better, more comic booky and less "weird poorly thought out real life allegory".
