k debonair 05/26/20 2:00:33 PM #12:	hand on shoulder or upper back is perfectly normal and acceptable. that's the go-to non verbal gesture for "excuse me I need to get by you and there isn't enough room" If you're in a noisy and crowded bar, this will happen 50 times in a night. a full on back rub or shoulder massage is different. I personally don't mind, although it is a bit awkward if a stranger does it.
