Do you think the whole ceremony should have just been cancelled if it had to last half a day to have everyone graduate?

52 y/o Nancy and her 53 y/o husband, Lyndon Barnett were killed in Kentucky just MINUTES after they left their 18 y/o son's graduation from high school that occurred over the weekend and lasted for 12 HOURS because of social distancing rules from COVID-19!!

They were in a fatal collission just about 5 minutes after leaving the parking lot at Fleming County High School where they just saw their son, Dalton received his diploma on Saturday morning.

Dalton was injured alongside his 26 y/o brother, Michael who are both being treated at the University of Kentucky Medical Centre as family friends have said both brothers required "urgent surgery" and are now recovereing

Principal Stephanie Emmons announced the tragic incident on the school's facebook page as she asked members of the community to pray for the family

Nancy was driving the family's car near the intersection of KY-11 and KY-599 at 9:15am when it collided with a pick up truck as she made a left as they were just leaving the ceremony to have a celebratory breakfast

Nancy was pronounced dead at the scene while Lyndon died a short time after

The driver of the pick up, 52 y/o Anthony Bailey and his wife, Nancy were unharmed as an investigation is underway

Nancy was ecstatic to see her son graduate as she even wore a shirt that said "Senior Mom: Some people wait their entire lives to meet their inspiration. I raised mine. Class of 2020"

The last post she made was of Dalton in his graduation cap and gown and wrote of her son's aspirations to join the US Military

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear reached out to the school to offer their assistance and prayers

A Gofundme page was set up to help with funeral costs as Nancy was a head chef for a nursing home while Lyndon worked as mechanic for Honda

The graduation ceremony lasted for 12 hours from 8am to 8pm as only ONE senior and a maximum of 6 family members were allowed on campus at a time because of the pandemic as the first student to graduate was at 8am as Dalton's graduation happened an hour later..

Do you think the graduation ceremony should have been cancelled if it had to last half a day for everyone to graduate?
