The dominate culture cannot be appropriated since to fit into the society minorities are forced to pick these things up. If they don't they are attacked and or looked down on. Also normally people speak about appropriation it is just not when someone is wearing something that another culture wears. but when they either use it as prop or when it has been socially unacceptable for a minority to do something for years and when the dominate culture starts doing it. People act like it is the greatest thing since sliced bread .
