Most American dubs use standard NA English which people are used to due to years of American mass media. If an American dub of Xenoblade has everyone speaking with a deep south drawl, it'll probably be jarring for a lot of people too. With British dub, you get all kinds of different accents people aren't familiar with including "the guy with the over the top cockney", the guys with the thick Scottish accent, etc. I personally don't mind that much as long as it's easy to understand what they are saying, but I can see why people might be turned off by it. --- congrats to BKSheikah the BYIG guru <cite>squexa posted [p:938709986] in Contest St...
