Why do people keep talking like having a high limit is a security issue? Literally watch your accounts, check them at least once a month. They are required by law to scrub it from your account if you didn't make the actual purchase. So someone just using your card without your knowledge doesn't hurt you in any way unless you need access to that credit immediately.
because it doesn't matter what the law is if it's not enforced what are you going to do sue a fortune 500 company yourself good luck with that there was one case where somebody got over 100k in fraudulent charges on their TD credit card and TD bank denied their fraud claim it actually says in the TD credit card agreement that chip cards are fraud proof and if the fraudulent charge was a chip read transaction then the cardholder is liable.
