The super kills mechanic just didn't work out, you'd have some characters whose supers were a guaranteed 3 kills and that was it, but then you'd have characters that could get like 7 kills on a single super. Certain characters could charge their supers way too fast with minimal moves, and it just wasn't as fun as Super Smash Bros. I still got Platinum on it and all that, but it just died really fast. I'm not saying it was perfectly balanced, and with tweaks it could have gotten better. I just liked the idea of finishers being how you get kills. --- Mind post.
