So, looking at 2015 stats, Pokemon GSC is supposed to get 73.69% on Bayonetta 2. In this contest, it gets 69.59%. Which suggests the remake is a bit weaker than the original, just not weaker enough to let Nier make the kill.

This is, of course, assuming a constant Bayonetta, which I think is fairly reasonable assumtption since this is a WiiU game, but who knows if Bayo didn't get benefitted by the post-2017 global nintendo boost. Then again, that boost should have also affected Pokemon so... yeah.
