Why wouldn't there exist similar power in TES to seal or banish? Nothing about Zelda puts her magic above the powers shown in TES. The Elder Scrolls themselves have literally appeared on more than one occasion just to give the people of Tamriel a way to stop some incredible evil. I find it unlikely that Ganon is substantially stronger than the likes of Mehrunes Dagon, who could only be defeated in TES: Oblivion by summoning Akatosh, one of the most powerful gods in TES, to banish his ass back to Oblivion.
