I personally think it'd be a lot better to use this opportunity to wean alcoholics off of their dependencies by offering rehab services with controlled dosing, rather than endangering people by keeping liquor stores open, but that does require more planning and infrastructure than is really feasible to slap together mid-crisis, and declaring liquor stores essential is an adequate alternative plan. --- This is my signature.
