Ya, I have never tried making fried rice per-say. But I do like the idea of day-old rice, and see that now. And ya the late-stage egg seems imperative. I would probably break the rules and use a tad of Worchester sauce, as I have it on hand, and don't really use Soy sauce for anything. I would probably go beef, as I try not to eat ham, and then it's brain storm on the Vegitable. The herbs would certainly include garlic..and someother things, I am not thinking of right now. Maybe a little rosemary. Probably a bit of olive oil at some stage.
