I play overwatch a lot borderlands seems the most similar I haven't played Overwatch but Borderlands is like a first person Diablo in a whacky cartoony setting with really beautiful details. There are different classes to choose from (4 by default but in Borderlands 2 they added a couple more as DLC). Each class has of course different bonuses and an action skill. They expanded on this in Borderlands 3, where you can get different boosts to your action skill or even swap the skill out with different abilities.
