And as much as I've been quite vocal in the past about being dissatisfied with RE2, it was nowhere near as bad as 6. It wasn't unplayable, but I guess I did enjoy Rev2. It's just, Rev2 was so damn full of horribly annoying moments (especially the fucking 1shot deaths everywhere) and it seriously soured my experience when I accidentally got the bad end on the first playthrough with no clues that there's a different ending (found out only after going to sleep and checking the next day). And now compare it to RE2make. I enjoyed the majority of it a lot: it plays great, it looks great, more focus on horror and exploration than other modern REs and even zombies feel more dangerous than usual. I didn't play any classic-style Resident Evil games so that may be why my opinion is more positive than that of others. --- Currently playing: Phoenix Wright Spirit of Justice ...
