If you have questions, please contact the Controller at your dealership. ________________________________________________ Notice of Imminent Layoff as required by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act March 26, 2020 To: All Employees of Jim Koons Automotive Companies From: Jim OConnell President Subject: Company Layoffs It is with great regret that we must inform you that, as a result of the recent Executive Orders from the States of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia to modify and/or reduce operations due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting loss of business, the company plans to lay off a substantial number of employees beginning immediately and possibly more in the near future. Receipt of this notice does not signify the loss of your position individual employees will be informed of their employment status by their managers. Due to the unforeseeable nature of these events and the uncertainty surrounding the timeline for resolution, we were unable to provide prior warning of these layoffs. Our hope is to reverse these layoffs and rehire affected employees as soon as possible; however, the uncertainty of this pandemic may prevent us from doing that.
